I'm not sure if I collected enough blood, can you tell by looking?Updated 6 days ago

For the Stress, Mood, & Metabolism test, your blood sample must be fully saturated reaching the dotted lines, and fully soak through the back as displayed in the instructions:

Acceptable collections cards:

  • All drops are SINGLE, large drops that do not overlap
  • Each drop fully soaks through the back of the card

Front

Back

If your card looks like any of these from the back, they will not be useable for testing:

1. Drops are too small, not reaching the dotted lines and soak through is not AT LEAST the size of a pencil eraser (minimum requirement, ideally is 2x pencil eraser width):

2. Drops did not saturate through the back fully, meaning blood volume is too low. None of these spots can be used:

3. Blood was multi dropped/ overlapping - none of these spots can be used for testing:

Additional examples of cards that were insufficient for testing

From left to right:

Cards 1 & 2 drops are too small and some are under the minimum required size for testing. Overall not enough blood has been provided for testing

Card 3 drops are all multi-dropped and not suitable for testing. 1 drop per circle, no overlapping is needed for accurate results

If your card does not match the requirements, email [email protected] for further instructions. In specific cases, you will be instructed to add additional single drops to the margin. In other cases, a recollection will be required.
